Hopkins County Humane Society’s Pet of the Week Monday, October 2

Frieza is a two-year-old Pitbull mix with a charming personality and a heart of gold. She’s a striking white beauty who gets along famously with other dogs and is incredibly gentle with children, making her a perfect addition to any family with youngsters. While she excels at following the “sit” command, her true joy comes from having her belly rubbed, and she’ll gladly offer up her tummy for some affection. Despite her wonderful qualities, Frieza has had a longer stay at the shelter, arriving on July 15, 2023. One of the most remarkable aspects of her temperament is her calm and composed nature, which is a rare find among shelter dogs. However, Frieza faces a challenge as she is currently Heartworm Positive, a condition that can be treated with the guidance of a local veterinarian. Frieza’s ultimate dream is to find her forever home, where she can share her love and tranquility with a caring family. She may not be the best fit for a household with cats, but she is more than ready to bring joy, loyalty, and endless belly rubs to her future family.
