Community Resource & Transition Fair

The event will allow the general public a chance to gather information about resources, services, and opportunities available to them through community-based organizations. Local organizations will be on site to talk about a wide range of low-cost and free services. Hopkins County residents can expect a number of services including:

Job Opening information from local employers, healthcare providers & services, substance abuse & recovery programming & COVID vaccines.

Community-based organizations providing information on Housing, transportation, legal assistance, and GED sign-ups.

Community groups providing Resume Help, College Resources, low-income assistance will also be on site.

More than 15 companies and organizations are expected to participate in the resource fair. Organizations including KY ASAP, Brightview, Hopkins County Health Department, Habitat for Humanity, City of Madisonville, Madisonville Community College, Hopkins County Jobs, West Kentucky Workforce Board, Adult Education, Workforce Connections, Teen Challenge, Hopkins County Child Support Unit, United Way of the Coalfield, Anthem, Health First Community Health Centers, PACS and UofL Medical Students will be present at the fair.

This event is sponsored by: KY ASAP and is put together in collaboration by: Madisonville Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation, West Kentucky Workforce Board, Hopkins County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Hopkins County Child Support Unit.
