Melissa Ann Adamson, 51 of Nortonville passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess.
Born June 30, 1975, to the late Richard and Karen (Sausman) Hannah of Louisville. She was of Christian faith and a member of The River in Nortonville.
Melissa worked within the school system on the south end of Hopkins County for over 20 years; she dedicated 15 of those years to Hopkins County Central High School.
She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. Melissa had a calm demeanor and a smile to share.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Adamson.
Survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Jason Adamson; son, Josh (Lauren) Adamson of Woodburn; daughter, Faith (Logan Richmond) Adamson of Rockfield; grandson, Waylon Adamson; brother, Dwight (Hala) Hannah of Louisville; and mother-in-law, Soundria Adamson of Nortonville.
Service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, November 1, at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Pastor Howard Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will be from noon – 3:00pm on Sunday at Bandy Funeral Home.
