Johnny Albert Doroba, age 71, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.
Mr. Doroba was born on February 9, 1955 in Chicago IL to the late Albert Doroba and Esther Clark King. He worked as a mechanic with underground coal mines and retired from the maintenance department at IAC and was a member of the Unity in Christ Church.
Mr. Doroba is survived by his wife ~ Janet Morfoot Doroba of Dawson Springs, KY; his son ~ John Wayne (Lisa) Doroba of Nortonville, KY; two brothers ~ Marvin Creekmur of Dawson Springs, KY and William Carrol (Sharon) Creekmur of Bremen, KY; two grandchildren ~ Alexis Yankee and Logan Doroba and four God Children ~ Ember, Noel, Shiloh and Isaiah Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister ~ Barbara Morgan.
There will be a graveside service for Johnny Albert Doroba on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley, KY with Rev. Brian Richardson, Rev. Brad Giffin, Rev. Monty Fuller and Dr. Bob Holzknecht officiating.
Active Pallbearers will be: Shawn Linville, Troy Linville, Tim Creekmur, Troy Giffin, Jeff Creekmur and Mike O’Rourke. Logan Doroba, Jim Hicks and Jordan Loney will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
