Brenda Parker Brasher, 74

Brenda Parker Brasher, 74, of Providence, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of faith, Brenda was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and served as First Lady of Shepherd Street Baptist Church in Princeton, Kentucky. She founded the West Kentucky Family Enrichment Center and was actively involved in church and community service throughout western Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Georgia Parker; brothers, Ira Shaw and Benny Parker; and sisters, Francine Parker, Geraldine Parker, and Emma Phillips.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 55 years, Rev. James H. Brasher; children, Erica Brasher, Brent Brasher, and James Brasher; stepdaughter, Tracy Rascoe; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
