Paul Joseph Fuller, Sr., 89, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehab in Madisonville.
He was born on March 30, 1937, in Crofton, KY, to the late Esther Morgan Fuller and Tom Fuller. He was a coal miner for Star Coal Mines and was also a carpenter. He was a pastor and evangelist most of his life. He enjoyed gardening. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Paul was a member of House of Prayer Church in Madisonville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-seven years, Joanne Smith Fuller; daughter, Paula Jo Fuller; brothers, Bill Fuller, Phillip Fuller, Lloyd Fuller, David Fuller, Ralph Fuller, and Kenneth Fuller; and his sisters, Edna Jones, Clarissa Sisk, Opal Duncan, Ruth Fuller, and Marie Hayes.
His survivors include his sons, Paul (Carol) Fuller, Jr. of Central City, KY, and Roger (Paula) Fuller of Madisonville; grandchildren, Amy (Willie) Townsell, Jill (David) Moore, Nathan (Sabrina) Abbott, Adam (Haley) Fuller, Jared (Katie) Fuller, Chet (Mandie) Fuller, and Kristi (Dewayne) Fulkerson; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Lake Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, KY, with Pastor Daryl Gates officiating. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
