Mary Hancock Morris, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 21st, 2026, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home.
She was born on May 10th, 1941 to J.C and Opal Hancock.
Mary attended Nebo School. She continued her education, becoming an LPN, then an RN Mary gave of herself tirelessly, always putting the needs of her loved ones before her own.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Harold Morris, her sister Carole Favors and her nephew Jeff Favors.
Mary is survived by her son Clifton Alexander (Delores), her granddaughter Emerald Striplin (Rick), her two great granddaughters Melody Striplin and Audrey Striplin. Two sisters, Reba Burris and Susan Young, her niece Jennifer Favors and several nephews. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Pat Crouch and her beloved dog Coco.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 28th, 2026 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home Madisonville Chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
