Darin Matthew Gentry, 47, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on August 25, 1978, in Madisonville, KY to the late Dennis Ray Gentry and Melissa Gentry.
Darin worked as a cook for Grandma’s Kitchen and Cracker Barrel. He was a member of Grapevine Christian Church. In addition, he was a City of Madisonville ambassador and a WWE referee in his younger years. He also enjoyed watching the NFL and Olympics.
He is survived by his sister, Jessica (Raymond) Abbott; his niece, Kaitlyn Pierce; two nephews, Elijah and Jaxon Lopez; and his three furbabies, Rusty, Brownie, and Ceasar.
A Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday August 21, 2026, at Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Andy Couch officiating. Burial will follow later on in the cemetery
