Leslie Ann Patterson Scott, 59, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY.
She was born on December 13, 1966, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Barbara Phelps Cotton and Bobby Patterson. She was formerly employed by Wal-Mart. She loved gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Leslie was a member of Earlington Assembly of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Cheara Scott and Sheena Duvall; and several brothers.
Her survivors include her daughter, Dakota Scott of Madisonville; brother, Eugene Peak of Madisonville; sister, Kimberly Scott of Madisonville; grandchildren, Shae Ward, Shawn Garrett, Joselyn Patterson, Cameron Scott, and Jackson Patterson; great-grandson, Jeremiah Figueredo; best friend, Roger Gibson of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Earlington Assembly of God, 902 S. Lee Trover Todd Jr. Hwy in Earlington, KY, with Pastor Johnny McCurry officiating. A private burial will be held by the family.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the church. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
