Diana Lynn Hargrove, 75, of Hanson, KY, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 16, 1951, in Hardin County, KY to the late Folie Cundiff and Daisy Mae Needham Cundiff. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, John Powell.
Diana made her living as a bookseller. When she wasn’t selling books, she could be seen in her garden, tending to her flowers, behind the pottery wheel creating something beautiful, or in the kitchen making her family a tasty meal. She loved her book clubs and even took up painting for a time.
Diana also worked as a reading teacher at Earlington Elementary School for a time where she loved all the children that she had the pleasure of teaching.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Hargrove of Hanson; her daughter, Kelly Hargrove of Hanson; her son, Mark Hargrove of Madisonville, KY; and her sister, Charlotte (Bill) Hudson of Hardin County. KY.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Diana asks that you hug and kiss your family and tell them that you love them. We don’t hear it or say it enough.
