Obituary
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Wayne “Sonny” Carroll.
His survivors include his wife of forty-nine years, Judy Devine Carroll of Madisonville; daughter, Kristy (Scott) Heltsley of Madisonville; son, Chad (Christy) Carroll of Madisonville; grandchildren, Victoria Dock, Kaitlyn (Jordan) Runkel, Emmi Carroll, Asher Carroll, and Fynlee Carroll; great-grandchildren, Baylor Runkel and Waylen Dock; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 714 Brown Road, Madisonville, with Pastor Roy Ellis officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force and the Hopkins County Honor Guard. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the church.
Pallbearers are Chuck Schockley, J.B. Browning, Steven Hancock, Joe Blue, Nick Bailey, Matt Sanderson, Derek Bannister, and Brad Howard. The honorary pallbearers are Tommy Omer, Phil Cruce, Malcolm Coffman, and Troy Devine.
