The two men in the vehicle that hit a house and damaged a mailbox are jailed in Hopkins County. It occurred on Tuesday in the 100 block of Northhaven Drive. Terry Morris told the police he was the driver, but the woman whose home was hit told officers that Morris offered her 100-dollars not to call the police. After denying involvement in the crash, the police concluded that Nathaniel Lloyd was the driver and that he had been drinking. Morris faces three charges. Lloyd faces six, including leaving the scene of an accident.
A failure to use a turn signal is what led to a traffic stop which led to an arrest. The police report states that Nicola Clary could not prove she had auto insurance. Discovered was a small container that looked like it contained methamphetamine. Clary said she knew what it was and that it belonged to a person who was recently in her car. When asked if she used meth, Clary said she was more of a dealer than a user. She was charged with three crimes, including possession of a controlled substance.
A Madisonville man is charged with shoplifting. The police were contacted by the Spirit Shop-Two on South Main. They say Nicholas Newman was attempting to conceal merchandise in his shirt. They also said he was attempting to purchase vodka using a medical insurance card.

A badly obstructed windshield is part of what led to a traffic stop on I-69. The officer reported that Jonathan Cobb had bloodshot and glossy eyes. The K-9 Arkham located a zippered bag of suspected meth, and a glass smoking pipe. This led to two drug charges. Cobb suggested to the officer that some people had been breaking into his vehicle and leaving behind narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
The time comes in a drug case when the police use a search warrant to solve a crime. At the Southgate Apartments are on South Main in Madisonville, the police located meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, baggies and pills. They were in the apartment of Christopher McKee. McKee’s crimes also included a prescription in a improper container.
