Obituary

James Hook, 66, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare in Madisonville.He was born on August 10, 1959, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Margaret Ann Faughn Hook and Lonnie Hook. He was a self-employed sanitation worker. He enjoyed fishing, watching tv, and playing poker. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Brooks and Patricia Willer; and his brothers, Robert Hook and infant Troy Hook.

Survivors include his sisters, Connie Bergeron and Shirley Williams, both of Madisonville, and Rita Oldham of Nortonville, KY; stepchildren, Mark Neal of Montegut, LA and Brad Neal of Mortons Gap, KY; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held at Olive Branch Cemetery at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
