Patricia “Patsy” Barber Obituary
Patricia “Patsy” L Barber,86, of Madisonville, KY passed away on June 24, 2026 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home.
She was born on November 23,1939 in Madisonville, KY to the late Arthur Edward and Susan Blakeley.
Patsy was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Earlington, KY where she was a longtime organist. She was a retired secretary at Herbert Pritchett and Associates.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband MC Barber; and a daughter, Allison Marie Barber.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Melinda Oglesby of Madisonville, KY; two sisters, Nancy (Jim) Sullivan of LaGrange, KY and Ann Marie (David) Harkins of Kuttawa, KY; three brothers, Joe Blakeley of Nicholasville, KY, Jimmy (Susanna) Blakeley of San Diego, CA, and Doug (Dianne) Blakeley of Metamora, MI; two grandchildren Megan (James) Crumley and Christopher Noah, three great grandchildren, Scarlett Crumley, Teagan Crumley, and Neven Crumley; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial mass will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 3:00PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Earlington, KY with Father David Kennedy officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood cemetery in Earlington, KY.
Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until service time at 3:00PM at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul store in Madisonville, KY
