Laurie Cowan Obituary
Laurie Susan Cowan, 60, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Albert B Chandler hospital in Lexington, KY.
She was born in Henderson, KY on September 1, 1965 to the late Roy Earl and Katheryn Littlepage.
Laurie was of the Baptist faith. She had worked as a bus driver for Hopkins County Schools and at Ollies with her twin sister, Julie. She loved her grandchildren and nature. She was a proud identical twin and mom.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Beverly Vanderveer.
Laurie is survived by her son, Jacob (Beth) Cowan of Madisonville, KY; her sister, Katheryn ( Richard) Cato of Madisonville, KY, her twin sister, Julie Hallum of Madisonville, KY; one brother, Lindsay Littlepage of Madisonville, KY; three grandchildren, Jasper Cowan, Jameson Cowan, and Jackson Hogan; one niece and eight nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 11:00AM until service time at 2:00PM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 2:00PM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Brian Kirkwood officiating and burial to follow at Grapevine cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Jager, Jason Fox, Matthew Fox, Phillip Hallum, Derrick Hallum, and Jackson Hallum. Honorary pallbearer will be Bailey Hallum.
