Attention World Wide Travelers, Midwest Air Freight Announces Final Boarding was called on Friday, May 29, 2026 for Carol Ray Travis, of Nebo, KY, who began her life journey on September 24, 1939, in Owensboro to the late Grace A. Bellamy DeBruler and Ray DeBruler.Her family tearfully waving goodbye are her daughters, Elisabeth Travis (Tim Easton) and Sandra Sposet; great daughter, Genna Sposet; sisters, Linda Richards, Patsy Westerfield, and Janice Crowder (Joe Michael); nieces, Leesa Belva (Joe Pat) Staci Ratliff, Shannon Kelley (Brian) Nikki Rae Zoglmann (Shawn), and Britt Cook (Gary Siebe); nephew, Ron Coppage (Rose); four great nephews; three great nieces; four great-great nephews; one great-great niece; and her beloved cat, Bebe.

Those greeting her at the final destination of the spirit in the sky are her parents, Ray and Grace DeBruler; sisters, Bobbie Bellamy and Joyce Cook; and her nephew, Roger Oller.

Her family asks for her remembrance by loving deeply, being loved, drinking good wines, dancing, following the horse races, and knowing you must have flowers always, always!

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
