Obituary

Roger “Scott” Noffsinger, 62, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his home.He was born on January 24, 1963, in Chicago, IL, to Edith Jakob Noffsinger and the late Roy Wayne Noffsinger. He was a self-employed diesel mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and vacationing with his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and his dog, Marcus.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Noffsinger.

His survivors include his mother, Edith Jakob Noffsinger of Central City, KY; son, Jonathan Noffsinger of Nashville, TN; daughter, Jessi Noffsinger, of Nashville; sisters, Anette (Darren) France of Madisonville and Christine Pressley of Central City; brother, David Wayne Noffsiinger of Central City; granddaughters, Maggie Noffsinger and Alyss Noffsinger; and his grandson, Joseph Noffsinger.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
