Jerry Cothran Obituary
Jerry Lee Cothran, 80, of Columbia, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
She was born on June 2, 1945 in Madisonville, KY to the late Cellous and Ruth Tyson
She was of the Pentecostal faith and had worked as a supervisor at Sears.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Burden; brothers and sisters Dean Scott, Delores Poole, and Anna Ruth Fraizer.
Jerry is survived by her husband, Liggett Cothran Jr. of Columbia, TN; three children, William Liggett Cothran of Waynesville, NC, Gary Cothran and his wife, Mary of West Point, VA, and Michael Cothran and his wife, Kim of Goldsboro, NC; one sister, Sue Prow of Washington, IN; one brother, Carrol Tyson of Madisonville, KY; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 1:00PM at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, KY with Bro. Dennis Mayfield officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to St Judes Children’s Research Hospital
