Obituary
She was born November 28, 1942, in Denver, CO, to the late Evelyn Smith. She was formerly a jewelry designer for O.C. Tanners in Salt Lake City. She was a collector of tea pots, enjoyed knitting, and was an animal lover. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Dorothy was a member and a chaplain at Covenant Community Church and she dearly loved serving her church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-one years, Robert N. Roland; and her sons, Leo Edward Wirthlin and Jerry Wirthlin.
She is survived by her children, Tom Wirthlin of Wyoming, David Wirthlin of Florida, and Edward Wirthlin of Washington; daughters, Patricia Crockett of Kentucky and Pam Galo of Utah; step-son, Raymond Roland of Missouri; sisters, Rhonda Colantonio and Carol Williams, both of California; twenty grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
