Sylvia Ann Moore, 86

Sylvia Ann Moore, 86 of Lexington, KY passed away, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born December 6, 1938, in Mortons Gap, KY to the late William Gatlin and Mary Rose Scott Gatlin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Moore, Sr; stepmother, Mary Lou Gatlin; her brother, Billy Gatlin; and step-brother, Lairy Noffsinger. Sylvia made her living as a homemaker. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Her favorite things to watch were tennis and UK basketball. She spent some of her free time in a bowling league that she loved dearly in her early years. She was a great hostess who loved to cook. Sylvia was the epitome of a lady. She was a great mother and grandmother to her family. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Carrie) Moore of Lexington, KY and Kenneth (Glenda) Moore, Jr. of Columbia, MO; three grandchildren, Logan Moore, Leslie Moore, and Jason Moore. Graveside services will be held from 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Salem Church Memorial Gardens in Mortons Gap. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
