Obituary
He was born on April 23, 1959, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Thelma Louise Travis Allen and Bobby Brown Allen. He was formerly employed as a carpenter at Denhan Blythe, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, thrifting, boating, photography, and he was a sports fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johney Williams.
His survivors include his son, Cody (Soji) Allen of Madisonville; sisters, Rebecca Jean (Ronnie) Hendricks of Hanson, KY, and Bobbie Sue Stone of Eddyville; brothers, Marvin Samuel (Jeanne) Williams of Dixon, KY, Joseph Waide Allen of Atlanta, GA, and Bryan (Leann) Allen of Madisonville; grandchildren, Noah Jones, Claudiajoy Jones, and Serenity Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hendricks officiating and Bryan Allen assisting. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Cody Allen, Bryan Allen, J.D. Harris, Matthew Rodimaker, Jeff Franklin, and Joe Allen.
