Obituary
He was born on September 2, 1942, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Agnes Brown Willis and Elvis “E.B.” Bealer Willis. He retired as an electrician and mechanic from Peabody Coal Company Camp #1 in Morganfield, KY. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and boating. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Pierce attended Eagle Rock Tabernacle Church in St. Charles, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lee Willis and Michael Herndon; sisters, Hattie Caldwell, Wanda Willis, Betty Hibbs, and Patricia “Pat” Warren.
His survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Andrea Fuller Willis; daughter, Angela Brasher of Crofton, KY; sons, Randall “Randy” Willis of Elizabethton, TN, and Troy Willis of Hanson; sisters, Mary Winders of Hopkinsville, KY and Judy Gates of Jeffersonville, IN; brother, Allen Herndon of Nortonville; grandchildren, Rebekah (James) Stokes, Leah (Isaac) Gray, Matthew (Alley) Willis, Zachary (Charity) Willis, and Brittany (Phillip) Elliott; great-grandchildren, Caleb Gray, Andrew Gray, Jordan Gray; Jasper Stokes, Levi Willis, Riley Willis, Eleanor Willis, Michaelyn Rae Willis, and Elijah Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Gray, Andrew Gray, Randall Willis, Matthew Willis, Zachary Willis, Terry Winders, Michael Fuller and Lamond Fuller.
