Doris June Davis Smiley, 73, of Madisonville, KY went to be with the Lord peacefully in her home Monday, May 5, 2025, in Madisonville.
She was born November 25, 1951, in Mclean County, KY to the late Lawerence Coleman and Alice Marie Davis; two brothers, Eugene and Dennis Davis, both of Mclean County.
Doris retired from Speed Queen where she worked for 23 years. In her younger years she enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling. Her favorite things to do were spending time with her family and attending services at Refuge Worship Center, where she was a member. But most of all Doris was a loving wife, mother and nana.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years Lester Ray Smiley of Madisonville; three children; Randall Eugene (Michelle) Renfrow of Dawson Springs, KY; Christie Renay (Seth) Parker of Wheatcroft; and Selena Arlene Smiley of Owensboro, KY; one sister Sherril Marie Duncan of Central City, KY; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donovan Dillingham, Preston White, Dalton White, Caleb Parker, Seth Parker, and Garrick Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. Emmett Hathaway and Payton Dame.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Refuge Worship Center located at 8950 Nebo Rd. Nebo, KY. with Bro. Larry Jamison of Mayfield, KY officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
