Obituary
He was born on July 24, 1956, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Elizabeth McGregor Ethridge and Theodore “Buster” Ethridge. He retired after forty-two years from the Hopkins County Courthouse. He enjoyed traveling, reading, watching movies and true crime podcasts, and listening to music. He was a member of Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Dalton, KY.
His survivors include his cousins, Sarah (Jeff) Howton Forker of Madisonville and Cynthia McWilliams of Dowagiac, MI; nephew, Glenn (Melanie) Forker of Lewistown, IL; nieces, Amanda (Kyle) Whitmer of Madisonville and Sophia Anderson of Chicago, IL; great-nieces, Kylie Whitmer and Isabella Forker; several other nieces and nephews; friend, Michelle (Shane) Fox of Madisonville; and other close friends, Finley, Everley, Marley, and Waverley.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery in Dalton, KY.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Kyle Whitmer, Amanda Whitmer, Jeff Forker, Shane Fox, Everett Mitchell, and Glenn Forker. Honorary pallbearer is Jason Barber.
