Obituary
She was born on July 21, 1946, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Bettye Jones Rickard and Arthur “Dude” Rickard, Jr. She loved baking recipes, watching true crimes tv, and enjoyed babysitting. She was a Michael Jackson and Elvis fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeret Corrin Harris; infant son, Jerrold Owen; grandson, Mark Anthony Harris, Jr.; step-grandson, David Gill; and sister, Sharon Winn.
Her survivors include her sons, Troy Daugherty and Jason (Kim) Daugherty, both of Sacramento, KY; sisters, Guynith Morgan of Bowling Green, KY, and Sue Ellen Mercer of Dawson Springs, KY; brothers, Arthur “Bud” Rickard III of Mortons Gap, KY, and Richard “Pat” Rickard of Nortonville, KY; grandchildren, Shawna (Chris) Guill, Natasha (Paulo) Caruana, Jake Johnson, Maggie (Adam) Bolden, Natasha Dawn Gill, Jacob (Angel) Harris, Amanda (Matthew) Frazer, Jalen Daugherty, and Chaylee (Jakob) Baldwin; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Family’s River House, 101 Kalista Drive, Calhoun, KY, with the family giving the eulogy. Burial will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY, at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
