Katherine Pappas Comer, 65, of Nebo, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her home.
She was born on February 9, 1960, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Lois Beth Brown Pappas and Captain Nick G. Pappas. She was formerly employed as a chef for Opryland Hotel. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, loved cooking and baking, and hummingbirds. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Anthony Pappas.
Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Gerry Comer; daughters, Windy (Ollie) Ralph of Pleasantview, TN, and Beth Ann Comer of Franklin, KY; brother, Derek Pappas of Seattle, WA; sisters, Nikki (Jim) Nyman of Austin, TX, Sharon (Sam) Wilson of Austin, TX, and Gail Lee (Nathan) Price of Goodlettsville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
