Frances L. Perkins Marks, 84, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
She was born on January 22, 1941, in San Simon, AZ to the late Mozelle Tilda Chappell Perkins and Clarence Perkins. Frances retired from Western Kentucky Hospital Services. She enjoyed planting flowers, sitting on her porch bird watching and traveling with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Marks, Sr.; her daughter, Lisa Gail Marks Ray; five sisters; two brothers; and her granddaughter, Samantha Campbell.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Kutella of Madisonville; son, William (Gina) Marks, Jr. of Madisonville; son-in-law, Tim Ray of Madisonville; one sister; four brothers; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Bobby Davis officiating. Burial to follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson, KY.
A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
The pallbearers are Kevin Kutella, Sr., Kevin Kutella, Jr., Jeremy Kutella, William Marks III, Brandon Campbell and Tim Ray.
