Jane Esther Horsefield Dickerson, 85, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.
She was born on July 26, 1939, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Mary Frazer Horsefield and James Horsefield. She was formerly employed as secretary for GCR Tire, formerly Edwards Warren. She was a proud member of the Western Kentucky Antique Power Association. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family. Jane was a member of Providence Rural United Methodist Church and recently attended Pritchett’s Chapel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Jackie Troy Dickerson; and brother, Thad Horsefield.
Survivors include her sons, Alfred Troy (Rochelle) Dickerson of Hopkinsville, KY, Anthony Lane (Vicki) Dickerson and Christopher Linn (Michelle) Dickerson, both of Madisonville; grandchildren, Carmen (Jon) Corley, Ashli (Taylor) Franklin, Blake Dickerson, Jacob Dickerson, and Sydney Dickerson; great-grandchildren, Anderson Franklin, Destinee Warthen, Harmony Corley, and Koralyn Abegglen; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Ladd officiating and Pastor Chris Marks assisting. Burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Troy Dickerson, Lane Dickerson, Chris Dickerson, Blake Dickerson, Jacob Dickerson, and Taylor Franklin. The honorary pallbearer is Jon Corley.
