Cheri Dutton Spainhoward, 70, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at her home.
She was born on July 23, 1954, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Mary Lois Johnston Emery. She was formerly employed as a waitress for Ferrell’s restaurant. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jackie Starks, Beverly Hancock, and Patricia Evans.
Survivors include her daughter, Misty (Tim) Mullen of Madisonville; lifetime partner, Barry Green of Madisonville; siblings, Raymond Emery, Richard Emery, Charlotte Collins, Lydia Dutton, and Marietta Dutton; grandchildren, David (Shana) Metcalfe and Jennifer (James) Dube; great-grandchildren, Elynnor Dube, Adalynn Dube, Cash Johnston, and Octavia Runyan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Wayne Burton officiating. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are David Metcalfe, Barry Green, Tim Mullen, James Dube, Jennifer Metcalfe, and Shana Metcalfe.
