Jerry H. Kemble, 73, of Mortons Gap, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess.
He was born on November 24, 1950, in Hanson, KY, to the late Betty Marks Johnson and David Harding Kemble. He was formerly employed as a logger with Rob Rodgers Logging. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and telling jokes. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Jerry was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, David Kemble, Sue Scott, Roger Kemble, Linda Williams, and Penny Haire.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Rebecca Kemble of Mortons Gap; children, Jerry Kemble of White Plains, KY, Jeff Kemble of Ilsley, KY, Kelly Jo Kemble of Hopkinsville, KY, and Jason (Julie) Camplin of White Plains; brother, Billy Kemble of Matthews, IN; sister, Vickie Moore of Madisonville; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Spears officiating. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in White Plains, KY.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Rob Rodgers, Eddie Rodgers, Terry Lee, Kenny Cates, Jeffrey Kemble, and Billy Kemble.
