Earl Stewart Wells, 96

Earl Stewart Wells, 96, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. He was born on November 18, 1928, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Irving Wells and Bernice Stewart Wells. He was also preceded in death by his son, Richard Wells. Earl worked at Kentucky Utilities. He had a love for being a farmer. He also greatly enjoyed raising cattle, gardening, hunting, and tinkering. He will be remembered for always lending a helping hand. He is survived by his wife, Uldine Lutz Wells; sons, Jon (Robbie) Wells, of Dalton, KY, and Randy (Sarah) Wells, of Madisonville, KY; grandchildren, Joanna Sandidge, Jeremy Wells, Baron Wells, and Avery Wells; and one great-grandchild, Katelyn Sandidge. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY, with Jeremy Wells officiating.
