Obituary
She was born on September 7, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, and Deborah was raised in Hatfield, Indiana. Throughout her life, she moved many times before settling in Madisonville. She retired from the Teamsters Union, where she worked on the pipeline as a truck driver, a career that showcased her strength, determination, and independence.
Deborah was a woman of great spirit and resilience, someone who could move mountains to achieve her dreams or provide for her family. She had a gypsy soul—spirited, adventurous, and a dreamer at heart. She never met a stranger, loved to talk, and was always willing to help others. Her passions included shopping, decorating her home, and giving generously to those she loved. Her loyal schnauzer, Edward, brought her constant joy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Amelia Coomes (formerly Bryant); her father, Clarence (Bumps) Bryant; biological father, Edward Henry; granddaughter, Magen Burden; and grandson Zackery Boyer.
Deborah is survived by her children, Nakia (Paul) Rohrscheib, Kristina (Cesar) Sifuentes, and Jason (Danielle) Boyer; her sisters, Joyce Badger and Darla Emerson;
grandchildren, Cynthia Burden, Jessica Rohrscheib, Jessica Hathaway, Matthew Boyer, Corbin Perez, Ezekiel Boyer, Lyndi Boyer, Jericho Perez, Ryder Boyer, Ezra Boyer, and Journey Boyer; and her great-granddaughter, Kalina Perez.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
Deborah’s laughter, warmth, and generous heart touched everyone she met. She will be remembered forever by her family and friends.
