Jerry Allen Hughes, 62, of Hanson, KY passed away on Sunday July 6, 2025, in Todd County, KY. He was born on March 24, 1963, in Madisonville, KY to the late Jerimiah Thomas Hughes. He is also preceded in death by stepdad, Jack Harrah. Jerry loved hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, sports, was a sports enthusiast and a huge UK basketball fan. He is survived by his mother, Judy Hammonds Harrah of Hanson; one daughter, Feonia Haynes of Hanson; two brothers, Danny Wayne Hughes, and Jack (Shelly) Willyard of Greenbrier, TN. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 12, 2025, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Chris Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Hanson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday July 11, 2025, and from 9:00 A.M. until the service time Saturday at the funeral home.
