Mamie Miller Obituary
Mamie Georgia Miller, 80 of Hopkinsville passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing in Madisonville. Born April 17, 1945, to the late Joseph Vernon and Dixie Burton (Ashmore) Eli. She was a long standing member of Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church in Nortonville. She enjoyed being part of the church; always teaching Sunday School and Bible School throughout the years. She was faithful with her efforts to witness to others and trying to lead others to God. Mamie worked at Nortonville Florist for many years and had an artistic eye and talent for making floral arrangements, she loved flowers. Her family and friends will tell you that with Mamie food was love; she was a fantastic cook and loved to share with everyone.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Miller; and siblings, Jurild Eli, James Eli, Estella Littlepage and Mary Frances Miller.
Survived by her children, Georgianna Faulk of Dawson Springs and Randall (Tammy) Miller of Hopkinsville; 3 grandchildren, Kristy (Todd) Nolan of Madisonville, Lauren Miller and Julianna Grace Miller both of Hopkinsville; 3 great-grandchildren, Beck Nolan, Nick Calhoun and Hope Calhoun; siblings, Katherine Whitfield, Carolyn Sue (David) Posvic, Joseph Eli and Charlotte (Raymond) Ward; and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Monday at 1:00pm at Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church in Nortonville with Bro. Daniel Vandiver officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the church.
