Sharon Rose Nichols, 73

Sharon Rose Nichols, 73 , of Madisonville, KY passed away on June 25, 2025 at her home.

She was born on March 27,1952 in Madisonville, KY to the late Theodore C. and Elsie Belle McIntosh

Sharon was a member of Earlington First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School Class, was on the bereavement kitchen committee and sewing class.

She had worked as a floral director at Kroger for twenty-eight years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Lee McIntosh.

Sharon is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Eddie Nichols of Madisonville, KY; two children, Michael Edward Nichols and his wife, Kendrea, of Owensboro, KY and Christopher Ray Nichols and his wife, Kammie and their children Jack and Jill, of Madisonville, KY; one grandchild, Michael Dillion Nichols of Hardinsburg, KY.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Jonathan Harrelson officiating and burial to follow at Odd Fellows cemetery in Madisonville, KY.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:00am until service time at 1:00pm at the funeral home.

The Pallbearers will be Christopher Nichols, Michael Nichols, David Griffy, Wade Simons, Matt Allen, and John Hall.
