Phyllis Ann Mashburn, 86, of Madisonville, KY passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at her residence.
She was born December 19, 1938, in Ilsley, KY to the late Horace Ware and Mattie Walker Ware. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters; three brothers; one grandson; and one son in law.
Phyllis was a member of 1st Christian Church in Madisonville, a member of Lakeshore Country Club, and the 80’s Ladies. She loved UK ball games, golfing, and fishing. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her by her husband of 45 years, Bennie Wilson Mashburn of Madisonville; her daughters, LaDonna (Wendell) Bennett and Debbie Smith, both of Madisonville; her sons, Glen (Glenda) Franklin of Dawson Springs, KY, and Scottie Franklin of Madisonville; one sister, Becky Brandon of Ilsley; one stepson, Terry Mashburn of Hopkinsville; one step daughter, Diane Davis of Elkton, KY; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 16, 2025, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M until the service time Monday at the funeral home in Madisonville.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Bennett, Westin Smith, Travis Franklin, Jesse Smith, Scottie Franklin Jr., Dylan Cornette, Colson Bennett, and Landan Bennett.
