Obituary
He was born on July 7, 1984, in Madisonville, KY, to Ida Hutchings Mitchell and the late Shelby Dayle Mitchell. He enjoyed fishing, model cars, and collecting hot wheels. Jonathan attended Concord General Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wilma Mitchell; grandfather, James Mitchell; and uncles, Jimmy Mitchell and Noel Mitchell.
His survivors include his mother, Ida Hutchings Mitchell; sons, Brandon Dayle Watson and David Mitchell; brother, Lee Mitchell; nieces, Mallorie Mitchell and Audrey Hadley; nephew, Zachary Mitchell; special cousins, Jacquline (Zachary) McPeak, Shane Hutchings, and Chris Stewart; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Silent Run Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jamey Daugherty officiating. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers are Lee Mitchell, Christ Stewart, Shane Hutchings, Justin Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, and Zachary Mitchell.
