Jacob Ray Cummings, 26, of Princeton, KY passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
He was born November 8, 1998, in Henderson, KY to Timothy Ray Cummings and Carey Patrice Tedder. Jacob worked as a coal miner for Riverview Coal Company. He enjoyed going to concerts, baseball games, hunting, fishing, and drinking Busch Lite. He was a member of Stoney Point Baptist Church. He loved his trucks and was always working on them. Most of all, he loved spending time with his girls.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lynn Cummings of Princeton; both of his parents, Tim (Jennifer Ball) Cummings and Carey Tedder, both of Dalton, KY; his two daughters, Adilynn Cummings and Amelia Cummings, both of Princeton; one sister, Anna Cummings of Dalton; one great grandmother; two grandmothers; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Elder Emmett Hathaway officiating.
The burial will take place at Dalton Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Erric Farmer, Paul Peyton, Baron Wells, Matt Haynes, Jacob Watts, Ronnie Wimberly, Devon Hale, and Aldron Tedder. Honorary pallbearer will be Kaleb Durrance.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Planters Bank in Providence, KY to go towards his daughters’ Scholarship Fund.
