David “Stretch” Wayne Pleasant, 62, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Dawson Springs, KY.
He was born on January 29, 1962, in Oaklawn, IL, to the late Mary Hilton Grafton and Moyar “Flash” Pleasant. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly a truck driver for Daugherty Trucking. He enjoyed boating, motorcycling, and camping. David was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Grafton; son, B.J. Bryant; and his brother, Steve Pleasant of California.
Survivors include his son, Mitchell Bryant of Nortonville, KY; twin sister, Anita Henninger of California; brothers, John Grafton of Oregon, Scott Grafton of Oregon, and Tim Grafton of Nevada; sister, Moryla Attebury of Madisonville, Kentucky; and brother, Larry Kaitschuck of Illinois.
A celebration of life will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the South Hopkins Fire Department, 8920 Hopkinsville Rd, Nortonville, KY 42442. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
