The country star’s twelve minute set was plagued by technical difficulties and confusing improvisations, and ultimately unraveled into what some attendees described on social media as “an epic disaster” and “A Billy Cyrus trainwreck.” One person on X went as far as to describe the brief performance as “Possibly the cringiest few minutes in entertainment history.” Cyrus’ set got off to a rocky start, as the singer was frustrated with sound issues while a video accompaniment to “Old Town Road” played on a screen behind him.
