Betty Jo Smith Watson, 88 of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Madisonville Health and Rehab in Madisonville, KY.
She was born on November 11,1936 in St. Charles, KY to the late Rolen Bayles and Ila Mae Butler
Betty attended the Madison Avenue Holiness Church in Madisonville, KY. She was a homemaker and volunteered at Common Garments in Nebo. Betty loved her church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Smith; two brothers; four sisters; and three grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her husband, Billy Watson of Madisonville, five children, Don Watson of Crofton, KY, Debbie Hayes of Sumter, SC Sandi Watson of Sumter, SC, Bobby Watson and his wife, Shirley, of Madisonville, KY and Yvonne Buxton and her husband, Mark of Magnolia, AL; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren; several great- great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 10:00AM at O’ Burg Cemetery in Mannington, KY.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Watson, Don Watson, Ricky Locke, Samuel Watson, Nathan Watson, and Kenny Watson.
Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
