Daniel Earle Felker, 73, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
He was born on January 29, 1951, in Fort Knox, KY, to the late Virginia Lorene Green Felker and James Vernon Felker. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from the Civil Service and was formerly employed as a special handler for Carhartt. He was an active sports fanatic with golfing being his favorite and was also a referee and umpire. Daniel was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Natalie Nance; stepson, Neal Nance; brother, John Felker; and sister, Patricia Finch.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Miller Felker of Madisonville; daughter, Tammy Felker of Louisville, KY; son, Todd (Sara) Felker of Chicago, IL; stepdaughter, Emily (Dwayne Gossett) Nance of Manitou, KY; stepson, Nathan (Brittney) Nance of Calhoun, KY; brothers, James (Helen) Felker of Arizona, William Felker of Kentucky, and Patrick Felker of Texas; grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Madison, Parker, Wren, Bradley, Brandon, Blake, Rachel, Haley, and Briar; great-grandchildren, Emeri, Everlee, Zander, Ella, and Oaklen; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Lee officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
