Freddie Stokes, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
He was born November 1, 1940, in Louisville, KY to the late Elvis Stokes and Alma Rickard Stokes.
Freddie worked as an auditor at Carhart. He also was big in the Shriners and was a member of the Masonic Lodge here in Madisonville. In addition, he coached baseball for many years and enjoyed watching baseball and basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce Stokes in Madisonville; two daughters, Kim (Dwayne) Buchanan and Brenda Green, both of Madisonville; one son, Larry Stokes of Madisonville; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for the family will be held at a later date.
