Dennis Alan Duncan, 74, of Hanson, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY.
He was born on January 27, 1950, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Joyce Bowles Duncan and Wayne Duncan. He retired from AT&T as a lineman. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, farming, and refinishing automobiles. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Alan was a member of Hanson Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Katrina Diane Mullins.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Charlotte Lisanby Duncan of Hanson; son, Brian Alan (Cynthia) Duncan of Laramie, WY; brother, Jerry Duncan of Nashville; grandsons, Skyler Duncan of Bowling Green, Ezra Duncan of Stone Bluff, NE, Jedediah Duncan of Laramie, WY, Noah Duncan of Laramie, WY, Samuel Mullins of Madisonville, and Sawyer Mullins of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Hutchins officiating. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Lance Parker, Danny Carlton, Steve Bryan, Andrew Deardroff, Jonathan Harrelson, and Josh Harralson.
