Gene “Cods” Rickard, 52, of Hanson, KY passed away on August 30,2024 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN.
He was born in Madisonville, KY on August 25,1972 to the late Don and Ann Rickard.
Gene was of the Christian faith. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion Post #6, and had worked at Hibbs Electric.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his nephew, Dakota Wayne Rickard.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Brittany Marsh and her husband, Jeremiah, of Madisonville, KY; his girlfriend, Tammy Gibson of Clay, KY; his brother, Bill Rickard and his wife, Amber, of Hanson, KY; three grandchildren, Jaden Thomas, Keilyn Marsh, and Anniston Marsh; and nephew, Andrew Rickard and his wife, Nova, of Henderson, KY.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with family and friends officiating.
Visitation will begin at 9:00AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 until service time at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
