Charles J. Fox, 67, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his residence.
He was born April 27, 1957, in Madisonville to the late James Edgar Fox and Maude Alice Offutt Fox. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Toby Fox and his mother-in-law, Imogene Benson.
Charles enjoyed playing games, talking on the phone with his son, working, coffee, going to the movies, eating popcorn, football, and playing golf. He loved Christmas and was known for being a very nice guy.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Barbara A. Dotson Fox; a son, Jonathan (Connie) Fox of Three Rivers, MI; two daughters, Trish (Cody) Fulkerson and Dana (Michael) Young both of Madisonville; two sisters, Elizabeth Conklin of Murray, KY, and Mary Jo (George) Rhenberg of TN and; 7 grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M Wednesday August 21, 2024, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Mayfield officiating.
The visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 11:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
