Norma Jane Lee, 93, of Mortons Gap, KY, passed away on August 1, 2024 in Madisonville, KY.
She was born on August 9, 1930 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Buell and Lillie DeMoss.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mortons Gap, KY. Norma grew up in White City, KY and graduated from Mortons Gap High School. She enjoyed quilting, needlework, cooking, gardening, and loved her pets. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the center of her life. Norma had retired as a bank teller for Kentucky Bank and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lee in 2010.
Norma is survived by her two children, Paulette “Polly” (Lewie) Williams and Jonathan Buell (Lisa) Lee; one sister, Oda Clements and brother-in-law, Larry King; four grandchildren, Laura (Matt) Vaughn, Aryn(John Michael) Carter, Alexa(Braxton) Adkins, and Audra Lee; great grandchildren, Jack Carter, Elizabeth “Ellee” Carter, Stevie Vaughn, and Sasha Vaughn; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 1 :00 PM at Old Salem Church Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY with Bro. Len Young officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkins County Humane Society. Donation envelopes will be made available at the service.
Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
