Diana Ledbetter Sullivan, 90, of Madisonville, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Maple Health and Rehab in Greenville, KY.
She was born on June 21, 1934, in Providence, KY, to the late Isabell Teague Ledbetter and James Ledbetter. Diana grew up in Providence before moving to Nashville, TN, where she graduated from East Nashville High School. She was married to Darrel W. Sullivan for fifty-two years. She was a radiologist at Regional Medical Center for twenty-five years. Diana’s passions were her family, art, and her church home at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel W. Sullivan, who passed in 2005.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy D. (Brenda) Sullivan of Madisonville; daughter, Angela (William) Holmes of Madisonville; and her grandchildren, Jason (Terrie) Sullivan of Benton, KY and Amanda Holmes of Madisonville.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Lisman Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lisman, KY with Jim Love officiating. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Mill’s Hall, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 163 North Main St. Madisonville, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diana’s memory to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 163 North Main Street, Madisonville, KY 42431.
