June Brackett Crowe, 76 of Mortons Gap passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026, at her home with her family at her side. Born November 16, 1949, to the late Ednie and Margaret (McIntosh) Brackett of Mortons Gap.
She was a long-standing member of Mortons Gap Christian Church where she often volunteered and served in various programs offered.
She was also a dedicated volunteer to the schools, always willing to help while her kids were growing up. June loved being a mother to her two boys and watching them grow their own families made her proud. Her grandchildren always brought a smile to her face.
Survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Gary Crowe; sons, Jason (Tina) Crowe of White Plains and Jarrett (Lindsey) Crowe of Newburgh; grandchildren, Tanner (Audrey) Crowe, Alexa (Michael) Higens, Easton Crowe, Evan Crowe and Emma Crowe; great-grandchild, Beckham Higens; siblings, Alan Dale Brackett of Union City, TN and Beth Gill of Newburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life service will be held at noon on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Mortons Gap Christian Church. Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service hour at the church. Burial will be private for family at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her honor.
