The Madisonville man spotted with two outdated registration stickers on his vehicle is facing three charges. The K-9 Odin located in Christopher Christian’s Dodge Ram a zippered pouch with suspected meth, and a glass smoking pipe with suspected meth residue . Christian was arrested at Island Ford Road and Chelsea.
The Madisonville police are hoping a member of the public can help them find a missing woman. 33-year-old Gabrielle Campfield is white with black hair, 5-7 and about 118 pounds. Gabrielle Campfield was last seen on the north side of town near Hillcrest Drive.
The Dawson Springs City Council meets this evening at 5:30 at 200 West Arcadia. It will include a discussion on the Vacation Buy Back Program for city employees.

The Kentucky Waterways Alliance says used tires are polluting our waterways. They leach toxic chemicals and rubber pollution into wildlife habitat and drinking water sources. They also say the problem seems to be worsening. A new online dashboard developed by the alliance makes it easier for Kentuckians to report tires dumped in or near local waterways using a smartphone. Barnett-Strother Funeral Home says the family that lost a 10-month old child will have a private service. Scottie Crowell lost her life last week. She had been accidentally left in a car by her grandmother who went to work at Owensboro Health-Multi Care. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Scottie Crowell Memorial Fund at First United Bank on North Main Street in Madisonville.
The MPD is announcing an arrest at a safety checkpoint. Chandler Middleton had bloodshot and watery eyes, as well as body tremors. The officer also reported that he could smell marijuana. When Middleton refused to submit to a blood draw, he was arrested and transported to the detention center.
The Greenville Police are reporting the discovery of a man’s body Monday morning. It was discovered on the wooden bridge at the entrance to Rails to Trails. They suspect no foul play. They say the deceased man was 77-years of age.
Traffic across the southbound bridge at Henderson will be delayed for a while. During the recent inspection, issues were discovered with a component in the bridge’s support structure. Until this issue is resolved, motorists should expect continued delays. Southbound traffic will not resume until the bridge passes all of the tests.
